This place is an absolute gem. The grilled lobster was absolute perfection. Mashed potatos and mixed vegies were spot on. The service was friendly, professional and attentive. Hidden beneath the palms and thatched canopy in a golden denlike, warm inviting place, what's better than this? Now know why they've been here 41 years. Here's to 41 more!

We had a wonderful dinner at the Original Lobster house. Everything was prepared perfect from the conch chowder appetizer to the grilled shrimp and lobster entrees. The service was first rate and having a live musician playing the saxaphone added to the experience. Thank you for a lovely dining experience in Cozumel.

Best food on the island! Great attentive service and management. Very kind and humble staff. Easy to find parking. Beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. Everything I’ve tried here was delicious! I would give more stars if I could!

I had a great dining experience tonight at the original Lobster House, staff very attentive and courteous, each server introduced themselves to me, the surf and turf dish was delicious and the portions well balanced. I would definitely come back again

My family and I wanted to step off the resort to have a nice meal somewhere. This food was simply the best food I have ever had at a little restaurant! The food is a little pricey, but it's lobster and steak. It's what is expected. The service was fantastic. The employees are so friendly and are right there to take care of you. If you want a good meal with such a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, GO HERE! The filet mignon is perfect.

Perfect!! We had one dinner off the menu, then went back a couple of days later to have them cook the mahi mahi we caught. Both meals were awesome!! Service is top notch. They took great care of our party of 11. The live music was fantastic too - very talented! And, not too loud. Beautiful atmosphere.

Despite not being able to indulge in the lobster, I still enjoyed a wonderful meal that showcased the restaurant’s commitment to quality. The freshly prepared grilled chicken pasta stood out as a great alternative. The chicken was tender, perfectly grilled, and paired with al dente pasta in a flavorful sauce that made the dish satisfying and hearty. The warm bread served alongside was another highlight, with a soft interior and a crispy crust that made it the perfect accompaniment to the meal. The signature margarita was a delightful addition to the experience. Served with just the right balance of tequila and lime, it was refreshing without being overpowering, making it an excellent choice for a seaside meal. The service was attentive, and the staff made sure that my allergy was well accommodated, offering alternatives and ensuring that I could still enjoy a memorable dining experience. Overall, while I wasn’t able to sample the lobster, the atmosphere, service, and care put into each dish at The Original Lobster House make it a fantastic spot for seafood lovers and non-seafood lovers alike. The beautiful seaside view and quality food make it a must-visit in Cozumel.
